Colored PPF has a deep, smooth finish that looks like a fresh factory paint job, not a sticker. Choose from today's most popular colors, including modern grays, rich greens, bright blues, soft pastels and satin or matte black, in gloss, metallic, satin and matte finishes.
Colored PPF is several times thicker than vinyl wrap film. It absorbs rock chips, road debris and light scratches before they reach your paint, and light swirls heal with heat from the sun or warm water. It also resists bugs, bird droppings, tree sap and road salt.
Your factory paint stays untouched underneath the film. When you're ready for a different look, or ready to sell, the film can be removed to reveal protected original paint. That makes color PPF a smarter choice than a repaint for keeping your vehicle's value.

Every color change PPF install covers the full vehicle. Every painted panel is wrapped in your new color, so the whole car is protected and the finish looks even from every angle.
We'll help you choose a color and finish, then your vehicle is thoroughly washed, decontaminated and prepped. Parts such as badges, handles and lights are removed where needed for cleaner, tucked edges. The film is installed panel by panel and post-heated so it holds its shape through Minnesota temperature swings.
Hand wash your vehicle, and avoid automatic brush washes and aiming a pressure washer directly at film edges. Adding a ceramic coating made for PPF makes washing easier and keeps the color looking fresh.

In Minnesota, a sedan must allow more than 50% of light in on all sides and the back glass. For a van or SUV, you must allow more than 50% of light in on the front two windows and any darkness may be used on the back two windows and back glass. Pristine Detail carries a variety of different window tint percentages for all of your needs.
